Job Summary

This is a full-time position responsible for leading the development and implementation of early childhood programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and experience in program planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children;
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants;
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties;
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed;
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children;
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children;
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records;
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor;
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity;
Credentials
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate;
