  • Job Summary: Persepolis Persian Restaurant Ltd is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, from traditional breads to sweet pastries.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet customer demand.
    • Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
    • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality products.
    • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods as required.
    • Drawing up production schedules to meet customer needs.
    • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
    • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
    • Requirements:
      • 3-4 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
      • Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination.
      • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
      • Reliability, dependability, and a team player attitude.
  • Work Environment: This is a full-time position in a fast-paced bakery environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work well under pressure, and have excellent communication skills.
