Job Title: Food Service Attendant

XPress Chef is seeking a skilled Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our dining staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth service
  • Package take-out food and prepare food for serving
  • Portion and wrap foods to meet customer needs
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen
  • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Work Environment:

XPress Chef is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
