About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Fresh Prep. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food processing facility, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Lead a high-performing management team and develop their skills and talents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop and communicate financial performance metrics for facilities
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement long-term resource planning strategies
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment, including cost management, production planning, inventory control, quality control, and continuous improvement
  • 3-5 years of experience leading a high-performing management team and developing talents
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is considered a significant asset
  • Ability to demonstrate successes in driving operational improvements while ensuring daily performance
  • Highly professional attitude and diplomatic skills, ability to establish effective partnerships at all levels of the organization as a collaborative team player
