About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will also be involved in supporting newcomers and refugees by assisting with their immediate settlement needs, offering on-the-job training tailored to youth, and providing awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves, floors, and back rooms.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Support the team with tasks such as opening and closing procedures, counting tills, and restocking shelves.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
