Shift Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at BLACKSTAR MGMT. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a high-performing team
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for business improvement
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move equipment as needed
