Job Title: Sessional Lecturer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic instructor to teach a course on Equity & Diversity in Education at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and a proven track record of teaching and leading in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver course content for a University credit course
  • Develop and administer assignments, tests, and exams
  • Supervise TAs (if any) assigned to the course
  • Provide out-of-class interactions with students via email and office hours
  • Calculate and submit grades

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Education or a closely related field
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, implementing and leading organizational level practices in equity, diversity, anti-racism, and social justice in a classroom environment, public and/or cultural communities
  • Experience teaching this course or a similar course at the university level is preferred
