We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Assistant to join our team at S WOODWORKS INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth and provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on site.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • We welcome newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
  • No Canadian work experience is required.
  • This is a permanent position.
  • The work language is English.
  • Our team works 40 hours per week.
