About the Role:

S WOODWORKS INC is seeking a skilled Carpentry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of carpentry work, including loading and transporting materials, operating pile driving cranes, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and removing rubble and debris.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
