Job Title: Data Analysis and Database Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis and Database Specialist to join our team at Kaizen Lab Inc. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for creating and generating reports using our client information system, filtering and cleaning data to identify and resolve problems, and coordinating and preparing comprehensive data analysis and statistical reports for research, evaluation, policy, program, and service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver functional analytics to support evidence-based decision-making using statistical analysis software.
  • Work with department leads and Program Directors to ensure that the agency regularly reviews efforts towards outputs/outcomes.
  • Review all custom and standard reports for accuracy and timeliness to maintain real-time information about program participants.
  • Develop and maintain Policies, Standards, and Controls about the safety of data in regard to regulatory compliance.
  • Build advanced data visualizations (Tableau reports, infographics, scorecards, dashboards) to support the dissemination of administrative data.
  • Provide well-structured reports and documents to convey analysis and insights that are clear, concise, and reader-friendly.
  • Manage critical timelines and ensure that deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in data analysis and management.
  • Familiarity with ETO (Efforts to Outcomes) or another case management database is an asset.
  • Experience with ETO, Tableau, and/or Qualtrics considered an asset.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS).
  • Fluency in a programming language (e.g., Python) would be an asset.
  • Proven passion for the data quality discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely meticulous in approach to work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Proven ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
