About the Role
Covenant House Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis and Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for creating and generating reports using our client information system, ETO. You will also be responsible for filtering and cleaning data, identifying and resolving problems, and coordinating and preparing comprehensive data analysis and statistical reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver functional analytics to support evidence-based decision-making
- Work with department leads to develop and maintain policies, standards, and controls for data safety and regulatory compliance
- Build advanced data visualizations using Tableau reports, infographics, scorecards, and dashboards
- Provide well-structured reports and documents to convey analysis and insights
- Manage critical timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of experience in data analysis and management, including database design and advanced report writing using SQL
- Familiarity with ETO or another case management database is an asset
- Experience with statistical software, such as R or SPSS, and programming languages, such as Python
- Proven passion for data quality discipline and strong interpersonal skills
