Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion and profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, direct, and mentor a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure the project's success.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all project work is performed in accordance with quality and safety standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Contract Administration: Review and understand contracts, and develop strategies to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Financial Management: Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: Journeyman certificate or undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in field supervision, with a strong background in construction management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction professionals. Proficient in project management software, including scheduling and cost control tools.
  • Certifications: NCSO designation required (IND); enrollment in the Gold Seal program (CDN) preferred.
