Section Vice-Chair Role Overview

As a key member of the Section team, the Section Vice-Chair will provide critical support to the Chair in managing regular and topical Section activities throughout the program year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chair to develop and implement Section strategies and initiatives.
  • Attend Council meetings and the Annual General Meeting in the event the Chair is unable to attend, ensuring continuity and representation of the Section.
  • Participate in orientation and other meetings arranged by the Executive Committee, Section Committee, and/or the Section Activity Coordinator, staying informed and engaged with Section activities.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Chair, adapting to the evolving needs of the Section.
