Job Title: Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Quicker Foods Inc.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training to improve performance.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant meets all relevant health and safety standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all customers have a positive experience in the restaurant.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure that food is prepared and served safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure that they are informed of the restaurant's performance.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that the restaurant is operating within budget.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and that the restaurant is consistently delivering high-quality food and service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports.
  • Ability to ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
