**Job Summary**

The Senior IT Program Manager at Kruger Inc. leads, monitors, and tracks a major IT program. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of an IT strategic roadmap that includes ERP systems, managed services, infrastructures, and applications integration requirements.

The incumbent supports all aspects associated with the overall planning, development, and delivery of the latest IT strategic project, including project scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
  • Ensures that projects remain within scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
  • Creates, manages, and distributes project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicates to management, customers, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing customer and project team feedback.
  • Assists in business development efforts to create project proposals, RFPs, estimates, and schedules.
  • Coordinate the preparation of contracts and related purchase orders.
  • Sets and monitors project budgets and staffing requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including internal and external project members.
  • Establishes key project criteria and metrics.
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures.
  • Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members and vendors.
  • Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, as well as resolving team conflicts.
  • Resolves technical and operational issues as required.
  • Fosters collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, including architects, and operations team to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensures that internal methodologies and practices for project execution are followed, this includes change management, adherence to the project management methodology, and stage gate reviews.

**Requirements**

  • University education in business administration, information systems, or engineering.
  • Project management certification (PMP certification) or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, including leading business facing teams at a senior level, with at least five years in program/project management, and/or change management roles.
  • Experience in business process and organisational change management.

**Skills and Abilities**

  • Results-driven with a strong customer focus, solid organizational skills, and adaptability to change.
  • Effective negotiating, consulting, and coaching skills.
  • Highly proficient with MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.

**Languages**

Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
