Fire Protection (Sprinkler) Designer Role

As a Fire Protection (Sprinkler) Designer at WSP Global Inc., you will play a crucial role in designing and reviewing fire protection and life safety systems for building projects in the public and private sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prepare engineering drawings and specifications for fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Conduct site reviews to verify that fire protection systems meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement fire protection systems that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and regulations, including NFPA and local building codes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in fire protection system design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
