Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our construction sites, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Management: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings; make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset; permanent position with 35-40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
