Job Title: Construction Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Maintenance Worker to join our team at PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our construction sites, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
