Senior Manager, Statistical Programming

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Statistical Programming to join our team. As a key member of our statistical programming team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of statistical programming standards, guidelines, and good working practices. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced statistical programmers and biostatisticians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain standards for database design, SAS datasets, and clinical trial data
  • Lead programming efforts for assigned client clusters and projects
  • Provide technical review, advice, and expertise to direct subordinate statistical programmers and biostatisticians
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical trial data and statistical programming standards
  • Perform quality control (QC) review of programming deliverables and regulatory submission documents
  • Lead efforts to resolve complex statistical programming issues or problems
Requirements
  • M.Sc., M.A. or higher degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or relevant fields
  • Minimum 9 years' experience with in-depth knowledge of clinical trial data processing and manipulation, hands-on statistical programming and analysis, and requirements for assembling and presenting trial results to regulatory agencies
  • Strong leadership and drive to achieve goals
  • Sound technical judgment and experience in process design and implementation in relevant areas
