Job Title: Registered Early Childhood Educator

An Apple A Daycare is seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our young learners.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced early childhood educator to work with children from birth to 12 years old. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, be able to create engaging lesson plans, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in early childhood education
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-44 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically able to lift children and participate in activities.
