Senior Project Architect Opportunity

Welcome to Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning, a leading architectural practice with a national presence in Canada. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Senior Project Architect to join our Calgary office, where we are involved in exciting work across a range of building types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and technical aspects of projects from the schematic design phase through to contract administration.
  • Oversee the project team, consultants, and client, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Develop project criteria, scope of services, detailed work plans, drawing lists, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Push the boundaries of design while meeting client and end-user needs.
  • Manage client relationships and develop these throughout the project process.
  • Ensure projects are delivered effectively through efficient resource management and achieving scheduled milestones.
Requirements:
  • A recognized degree in architecture coupled with a minimum of seven years of experience.
  • AAA registration. AIBC registration is an asset but not a must.
  • Experience leading projects of at least $15m (construction value) with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a variety of building typologies, including public, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.
  • Strong technical knowledge and technical drawing experience using Revit.
  • Excellent graphic and verbal communication and presentation skills.
