Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including large capacity washers, dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, convey systems, and boilers.
- Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Ensure safe operation of machinery and systems, and follow established safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
- Record and analyze meter readings of utilities and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Inspect and maintain motor, belts, fluid levels, and other equipment parts in accordance with maintenance procedures.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System for all repair and preventive maintenance activities.
- Respond to emergency alarms and assist with other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree in an appropriate background preferred.
- At least 18 years of age and valid non-commercial driver's license required.
- Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment and experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Lockout / Tagout experience and prior welding experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work overtime as needed required.
