About the Role

Big Rock Brewery is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our brewery equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on brewery equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work orders to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and make repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Brewing, Food Safety, and Q/A, to improve functionality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing facilities.
  • Millwright License or Red Seal Journeyman certification.
  • Post-secondary or vocational training in a related field is an asset.
  • Fall Arrest Protection and Confined Space Training are considered assets.
  • First Aid certification is also an asset.
