Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed quality requirements and client expectations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver complex and large quantity orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including testing procedures and quality standards.
  • Coach and mentor quality team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communicate quality performance results to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with products similar to truck bodies.
  • Understanding of schematics and/or technical drawings, and proficiency in using quality measurement equipment and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Positive leadership expertise and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Essential bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.
