This role requires a business-oriented individual with excellent technical skills to identify market needs, develop effective marketing strategies, and drive product development throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive into targeted market segments to identify differentiation opportunities and translate these into market requirements documents
  • Review incoming product requests, identify market problems or user stories, and work with engineering to complete internal feasibility assessments
  • Develop and maintain a business proposal that makes a compelling case for continued investment in your products
  • Create product requirements documentation identifying market problems, applications, feature requirements, and positioning
  • Evaluate competitor feature sets and user experience, understand Teledyne FLIR's product benefits and opportunities for improvement
  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis and review potential partner relationships for the product
  • Track, analyze, and model/forecast sales performance of existing products to know how you're winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to your product and processes to create improvement
