Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to oversee our trucking operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising workers and projects, as well as dispatching bus drivers and monitoring routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to optimize delivery times
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance team skills
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet business needs
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with a strong work ethic

Working Conditions:

  • 30 to 35 hours per week
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
