Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Construction Estimator for Atlas-Apex Roofing (Saskatchewan) Inc., you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various construction projects. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and develop accurate estimates.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Preparing estimates for general expenses and overheads
* Creating and submitting estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
* Advising on tendering procedures
* Monitoring and adjusting contract expenditures
* Liaising with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction estimating
* Computer and technology knowledge, including estimating packages, database, spreadsheet, MS Excel, and MS Word
* Experience with commercial and/or industrial construction, industrial construction, and institutional construction
* Project size estimating experience in the range of $100,001 - $500,000
* Area of work experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts, and project coordination
* Construction specialization in roofing
