Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dengarry Professional Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with intellectual, physical, and mental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support and care to clients in a group home setting. This will include assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and food safety
  • Support clients with household chores and cleaning
  • Assist clients with transportation and outings
  • Provide support and guidance to clients with daily routines and activities
  • Document client progress and provide feedback to management
Requirements:
  • Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training
  • Mandt System training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
