The Role

Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
- Inventory Management: Determine and control inventory levels to meet production plans and track them to ensure optimal levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports to Global stakeholders, including budget plans, costs, quality, deadlines, and human resources management.
- Supplier Management: Manage the supplier management and evaluation program, including tendering and negotiation activities, to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs for Procurement staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that Procurement operations are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in procurement function, with experience in team management and a working knowledge of MRP/ERP concepts and systems.
- Skills: Strong solution focus, ability to understand site and business goals, and recommend new approaches to affect continual improvements in business objectives and productivity. Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
