Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Bausch & Lomb. As a key member of our global procurement function, you will be responsible for managing sourcing, purchasing, and inventory levels to meet our global procurement KPI and manufacturing site objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies to support business goals and objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure best-in-class pricing and service.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to the procurement team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related studies and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in procurement function.
  • Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in team management, demonstrating the ability to foster a collaborative environment and drive team success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCP designation or APICS certification.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and of MRP/ERP concepts and systems (SAP Purchasing).
