As a member of the hospital's Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer plays a critical role in shaping the organization's financial strategy and ensuring the effective management of corporate programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Governors on fiscal policies, practices, and programs.
  • Develop and manage corporate programs and services, ensuring alignment with the hospital's mission, vision, and strategic plan.
  • Assume accountability for a support/clinical support portfolio, ensuring that service delivery strategies align with the corporate mission and operating plan priorities.
  • Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, exercising broad administrative responsibilities to provide direction and coordination of corporate and financial services and assigned support/clinical support services.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Commerce, Administration, or a related field (Masters of Business Administration preferred) and professional accounting designation (CPA). A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive senior management experience overseeing finance and administrative services in the Ontario hospital sector is required. The successful candidate will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
