We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team at T.D. Williamson. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and testing T.D. Williamson services equipment and customer equipment to detect damage or wear.
- Performing all shipping and receiving functions, including job setup and proper packaging of HT&P equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, adhering to TDW safety standards.
- Maintaining maintenance records of the service center HT&P equipment, ensuring records are current and complete in FSA.
- Verifying state, tags, and marks on incoming and outgoing equipment comply with TDW procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical/vocational certification(s) in automation, mechanics, or electronics and three (3) years of technical experience or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.
- Repair and maintenance experience of TDW services equipment.
- Completion of MAP assessment to obtain certification.
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including travel to the US.
- Full G Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of TDW equipment maintenance.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment, such as pumps, motors, control valves, etc.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including service automation programs.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to influence others.
- Ability to speak English required; French as a second language would be an asset.
