Job Title: Class 1 or 3 Operator

Birch Mountain Enterprises LP is seeking an experienced Class 1 or 3 Operator to join our team. As a Class 1 or 3 Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of equipment, including water, sewer, vacuum, hydro-vac, roll-off, steam truck, flatbed, and tanker units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform daily documentation, including daily logbooks, customer work orders, and field-level risk assessments
  • Follow instructions from dispatch or supervisor
  • Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to maintain company image
  • Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings
  • Ensure all training is kept current
  • Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with clean driver's abstract
  • Minimum 3 years experience operating 18-speed manual Class 1 or 3 equipment
  • Previous experience operating water, vacuum, hydro, or combo vac units
  • Mine drive experience is an asset
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification
  • Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Daily Trip Inspections, Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta, Weights and Dimensions, Cargo Securement for flatbeds, WHMIS, and H2S Alive considered an asset
