Mekong is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Clean and maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure that all products meet established quality standards, adhering to food safety and handling procedures.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on culinary arts or a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
