Job Overview

Culinary Specialist

At Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, every exceptional dining experience is crafted by our dedicated Culinary team, whose focus on safety, efficiency, and outstanding cuisine is paramount. As a Culinary Specialist, your expertise in food preparation will motivate your team to deliver extraordinary culinary creations.

Compensation:

$26.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure uniformity in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus in accordance with hotel recipes and standards Maintain proper inventory rotation in all storage areas to reduce waste and spoilage Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and promotions Adhere to kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations when handling food and beverages Qualifications
A minimum of two years of experience in the culinary field is required A Diploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline is highly recommended
