About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security and Information Assurance Manager to join our team at Babcock International. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.

Job Description
  • Lead the security operation of the organization in both French and English, providing assurance of security performance and Information Assurance (IA) to Senior Management.
  • Capture and interpret external requirements to ensure consistency across Babcock Canada.
  • Support external audits and internal assessments, defining internal and local assurance requirements.
  • Conduct inspections, report on Assurance activities across Canada, and produce and review Babcock Canada's Security and IA policies and processes.
  • Provide internal security consultancy advice, facilitate security communications, and design and deliver security training as appropriate.
  • Assist the business in maintaining testing and improving Business Continuity Plans, ensuring Security and IA requirements and risks of current and new business are identified and proactively managed.
  • Ensure the continued safety and resilience of Babcock Canada's sites, staff, and systems against security threats.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Security Management from an accredited post-secondary institution (an asset).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Industrial Security Program and the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within a Corporate Security Program.
  • Minimum 8 years in the security field.
  • French/English bilingualism required.
  • Working knowledge of Physical Security systems (Card access, CCTV, & alarm systems).
  • Intermediate experience writing security and/or emergency incident reports.
  • Project Management experience and/or qualifications (a plus).
  • Working knowledge of establishing or maintaining business continuity programs, principles for information & cyber security (an asset).
  • Basic knowledge of emergency management, conducting security-related investigations, conducting business continuity program exercises.
