Housekeeping Team Lead

Airdrie Inn and Suites is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our hotel operations team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
About the RoleWe are looking for a leader who can effectively plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, ensuring that safety standards and departmental policies are met. The successful candidate will have experience in supervising maintenance and repair services, coordinating maintenance and repair services, conducting performance evaluations and appraisals, and maintaining inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
You will also be responsible for supervising in-house laundry services, scheduling and assigning duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and hiring and dismissing staff as needed.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, and permanent employment with 30 to 44 hours per week.
