Responsibilities:- Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including daycare equipment and supplies.
- Assist in planning and implementing programs that promote children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and organized environment.
- Assist in keeping records and submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
- Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts, to promote learning and development.
- Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
- Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to multitask.
