Carpenter - Houses

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure building levels are accurate.
- Train and supervise apprentices and other workers.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
As a Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and outdoors.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead others.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
