Accounts Payable Leadership Position

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the company's accounts payable team.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise the accounts payable team, provide performance assessments, and drive staff training and development initiatives.
- Accounts Payable Management: Review and manage payables, ensure timely payments, and maximize available discounts.
- Policy Development: Develop, recommend, and implement efficient AP procedures to streamline operations.
- Vendor Relations: Act as a primary liaison with suppliers; handle inquiries, resolve disputes, prepare debit notes, and monitor collections.
- Accounts Receivable Oversight: Track receivables and actively follow up to secure timely payment.
- Experience: 3-5 years in Accounts Payable Supervision, with a strong preference for experience in retail or food industry settings.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with Sage Accounting, ACCPAC, and related accounts payable software.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in the food industry is an asset.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to team and vendor relations.
- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
