We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Associate to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities Inc.

Overview

As a Wealth Management Associate, you will provide administrative support to our Advisory Team, helping deepen relationships with existing clients and drive business growth.

Job Description

This is a full-time salaried position based in West Vancouver, offering a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience. You have the potential to earn significantly more through RBC's discretionary bonus program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Team lead, coordinating, executing, and following up on WM & Insurance strategies, including diary systems for timely updates of financial plans, wills, and estate reviews.
  • Supporting advisors as needed with WM discussions and meetings with clients.
  • Completing myGPS plans for clients, including information gathering, input, and joint or individual presentations.
  • Attending all meetings with WM professionals and clients, taking notes, and leading post-meeting debriefs to ensure clarity on next steps, accountabilities, and timelines.
  • Assisting advisors with relationship management of client lists.
  • Portfolio review prep for assigned client lists and reviewing planned recommendations/changes with advisors prior to client discussions.
  • Assisting advisors with marketing and profiling the North Shore Wealth Management Value Proposition.
  • Growing assigned client relationships (asset consolidation, monetization, referrals, additional family members, etc.).
  • Maintaining and updating Opportunities lists for all Clients and prospects.
  • Keeping up-to-date on client onboarding systems and other administrative systems to provide vacation coverage if needed for Senior Administrators.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certifications: Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • Experience: 2-5 years in the securities industry.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • High-level time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated exceptional client service skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
