Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons #101853.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with company standards and policies.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and deadlines;
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard;
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction;
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels;
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience;
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, analyzing data to inform strategic business decisions;
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly;
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future growth and development;
- Prepare and submit reports on key performance indicators, such as sales trends, customer feedback, and operational efficiency;
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and execution;
- Possess knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and menu offerings;
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
- Establish work schedules, balancing the needs of staff and customers while achieving business objectives;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as hospitality management or culinary arts;
- At least 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment like Tim Hortons;
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities;
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
