Job Title: Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at MG HOUSEHOLD. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Errands and Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Other Duties: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
  • Training and Experience: Will train, permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, work in employer's/client's home, room and board provided.
  • Transportation: Public transportation available.
