Job Title: Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at MG HOUSEHOLD. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, as well as providing support with daily tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Household Chores: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Personal Support: Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, and provide emotional support and companionship.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, with room and board provided.
  • Transportation: Public transportation available.
Personal Qualities:
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
