SRS Managers (Canada) Limited, a fast-growing privately-owned insurance services company, is currently seeking a talented professional to join our Halifax office as a Treasury Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional treasury and cash management services to our colleagues in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree or diploma with a concentration in Business and/or Accounting, and 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a Financial Services or a similar role. Experience in banking and with online payment platforms is considered an asset.

As a Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the client service team through the cash management of a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance companies. You will also be responsible for maintaining master client banking and investment account listings, managing accounts payable, online cash management, and related banking functions.

Additionally, you will provide assistance with corporate payments and processes, advise relevant financial institutions of signatory changes on a periodic basis, and work within automated workflow processes to improve overall treasury throughput and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will have superb organizational skills, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, and knowledge of Custody, FX, and Subscription and Redemption processes. They will also be able to work remotely with teams located across multiple time zones, be a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, and be comfortable with shifting demands.
