SRS Managers (Canada) Limited is a leading insurance services company seeking a highly skilled Cash Management Expert to join our Halifax office. As a Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional treasury and cash management services to our colleagues in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree or diploma with a concentration in Business and/or Accounting, and 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a Financial Services or a similar role. Experience in banking and with online payment platforms is considered an asset.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day operations of the client service team through the cash management of a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance companies, maintaining master client banking and investment account listings, and managing accounts payable, online cash management, and related banking functions.
You will also be responsible for providing assistance with corporate payments and processes, advising relevant financial institutions of signatory changes on a periodic basis, and working within automated workflow processes to improve overall treasury throughput and operational efficiency.
