Job Title: SOC ASIC DV Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC ASIC DV Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of industry-leading products.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and verifying complex SOC ASICs, working closely with architects, front-end designers, and methodology engineers to develop testbench architectures and flows. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement testbench architectures and flows for SOC ASICs
  • Collaborate with architects, front-end designers, and methodology engineers to ensure seamless integration of IP and tools
  • Define and implement top-level and interoperability test plans, chiplet and subsystem verification methodologies
  • Develop and maintain testbench components in UVM and C++ to support system-level verification and coverage closure
  • Manage simulation performance and provide technical support to other teams on infrastructure backbone
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong experience in ASIC design verification or methodology
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Ruby, SQL, and Linux OS
  • Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification libraries like UVM
  • Experience in design verification methodology, including assertion coverage-based driven verification, constraint random test generation, and formal verification
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in GPU and APU design/verification
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • Good people and project management skills
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced, pressure-filled environment
