We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Designer to join our team at BOS Innovations. As a key player in developing automation processes and creating design packages for custom automation systems, you will have the opportunity to bring innovative ideas to life.

About the Role:

This is an excellent chance to leverage your expertise in SolidWorks and mechanical components to deliver high-quality, functional machinery that meets project timelines and budgets. You will work closely with suppliers and team members to bring designs to life, actively contributing during discussions to shape project outcomes and ensure alignment with objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Use SolidWorks to develop innovative designs for custom automation systems, ensuring mechanical components are thoughtfully selected and integrated to meet project requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with suppliers and team members to bring designs to life, actively contributing during discussions to shape project outcomes and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Project Execution and Problem Solving: Prepare detailed design packages with precision and troubleshoot technical challenges, driving continuous improvement in the functionality and quality of automation systems.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong passion for mechanical design and innovation, as well as a schooling background in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. You should have valuable experience in designing custom automation machines, including robotics, and excel at leveraging tools like SolidWorks to create impactful solutions.

Your excellent understanding of mechanical components, coupled with your strong organizational and communication skills, enables you to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers.
