Job Title: Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Atlantic Beef Products Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Operate knives and other equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work in a team environment to meet production targets
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a meat cutting or processing environment
  • Ability to work in a cold, noisy environment
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
