We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Fresh Foods Department Manager to lead our Produce and Bread department at Accoravillage.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage daily operations of the Fresh Foods Department, focusing on sales, labor, and waste targets.
- Interview and onboard new team members, and monitor and evaluate their performance.
- Assist in rolling out new policies and ensure team members are compliant.
- Motivate and inspire team members, and facilitate personal growth.
- Ensure high levels of productivity and maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities, and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
- 3-5 years of management experience in retail stores.
- Experience in maintaining operational excellence, including payroll, shrink, and inventory management.
- A solid understanding of sales forecasts and the ability to establish key targets for the department.
- A strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work primarily daytime shifts, with evening/weekend availability.
